Can you provide 24-hour support?

A. Yes, we can.

Q.

How long is support provided for?

A.

Product support is provided as follows:

  • For HP IceWall SSO 6.0 and HP IceWall SSO 7.0
    HP IceWall SSO 6.0 will be supported through April 30, 2006
    HP IceWall SSO 7.0 will be supported through January 31, 2008

  • For HP IceWall SSO 8.0 or later
    · 2 years from the end of product sales as set by HP
    · Assistant support is available for 2 years after the end of the support period
    · Assistant support is provided to customers who have a support contract
    · Assistant support includes the following:
     
    - Phone-based inquiries
    - Explanation of any available workarounds.
    We will inform you if no workaround is available short of an upgrade, but a patch will not be provided.
    - Provision of a patch for critical issues will be at the discretion of the developer.
    As a rule, patches will not be provided for issues that can be addressed with a product upgrade.

Once I’ve installed HP IceWall SSO, can you provide support in the form of security upgrades for Sun ONE Web Server or Apache, or that only includes patches?

A. As this will depend on your requirements, we will be happy to provide a separate estimate.
