hpbootcfg(8) hpbootcfg(8) NAME hpbootcfg - hp ProLiant boot configuration utility SYNOPSIS /sbin/hpbootcfg [-F -C -H -T] [-S -Q -R -P] [-r -d -n -b] DESCRIPTION The hpbootcfg utility allows an application to set which device to boot from on the next boot of the system. This can be a permanent change or a "one time" boot change. Typically this feature is used to boot to PXE for a remote installation. A typical usage would be "/sbin/hpbootcfg -P -b" followed by a "/sbin/shutdown -r". This command sequence would reboot the server to PXE boot mode and would not wait on any "F1" prompt messages. -D Set Defaults Everywhere -F Floppy Drive First -C CD-ROM Drive First -H Hard Drive First -T Tape Drive First -S one time boot to system configuration utility -Q one time boot to quick configuration utility -R one time boot to RBSU -P one time boot to PXE -r one time remote -d one time remote dial out -n one time remote network -b Bypass F1 / F2 prompts AUTHOR Hewlett-Packard Company .
